OUR PROJECT - MOPIC
In the project "Motion pictures at en exhibition" we will create a digitally based exhibition, inspired by Modest Mussorgsky’s classical music suite called “Pictures at an Exhibition”. We use historic pictures from our local areas and they give them a new current life. This is conveyed by means of new photographs and paintings, historical and contemporary music as well as short self recorded movies. All of this will come together in an iPad based interactive digital application that allows the visitor to go from room to room and slide to slide in order to experience the historical and the contemporary image.
Meet the Erasmus+ students
Team Åland Islands - Godby högstadieskola
Class 8a is the creative class in our school. Therefore, we were asked to participate in this project. We are 18 students and have one hour/week in our ordinary timetable. Our teachers are our music teacher Karsten Steiner and our art teacher and class teacher Mark Cosgrove.

Team Catalonia - Edn high school in Navàs
Hello we are 18 pupils of 2nd of ESO from Edn high school in Navàs, Catalonia, participating in the Erasmus+ project called Mopic. In our school there are 3 groups of 2nd of ESO but in our Erasmus lessons there is a mix of pupils of the 3 groups in just one class. We are now 14 years old and our Erasmus teachers are Marc Sibila and Ceci Balaguer; Marc is our music teacher and Ceci our English teacher. We like this project a lot.
We are part of this project because we all have different abilities and interests about art, music and English.

Our team consists of three different seventh grade classes. There are seventeen members at the moment. Some of us are from the theatre classes. We have three hours Erasmus+ extracurricular meetings per week.
Klaipeda is located near the Baltic Sea. It is the third largest city and the only port in Lithuania. Our school, located in the city centre, is the oldest in Klaipeda, in fact last year we celebrated our 160 th jubilee.
